Thermostats and Controllers for Classrooms

Marvair offers a complete line of thermostats and controllers for control of the environment in the classroom. Thermostats for both heat pumps and air conditioners are offered. All of our thermostats are electronic - no mercury - are reliable, have easy to read LCD displays and are easy to operate. Programmable and non-programmable thermostats are offered with auto or manual changeover and 1 or 2 stage heating and cooling.

The MAR5000 energy management system is a feature rich system designed for use in classrooms and can be used with all of the Marvair air conditioners and heat pumps. The MAR 5000 features: Temperature control Humidity measurement and direct control of the dehumidification function Seven relays for interfacing with the HVAC system or external devices. Ventilation control. One dry contact set of inputs enables data feed from any dry contact output device, e.g., a door switch. Support for load shedding An internal clock keeps accurate time for lengthy (up to 2.5 weeks) power outages. Intelligent occupancy anticipation. Options include: Unoccupied continuous fan shutoff. Lighting control Dynamic recovery time based set back Indefinite retention of history on power loss. Heat Pump Thermostats

Digital Thermostat (p/n 50107) - two stage heat, two stage cool. Seven day programmable. Programmable fan. Auto-On Fan switch. Auto-changeover. Non-volatile program memory. Status LED's. Backlit display

Digital Thermostat (p/n 50122) - two stage heat, two stage cool. Non-programmable. Auto-On Fan switch. Manual changeover. Cool-Off-Heat-Emergency Heat System switch. Status LED's. °F or °C.

Internal Electronic Programmable Thermostat (p/n S/02792) (factory installed) with automatic changeover, has two stages of heating and one stage of cooling and a fan switch. System mode switch has OFF, COOL, AUTO, HEAT, and EM.HT. settings. Fan mode switch has OFF and AUTO settings. This thermostat may be used with systems that have no heat, electric resistance, a hot water coil or a steam coil.

Non-Programmable Electronic Heat Pump Thermostat (p/n 50116) has two stage heat, one stage cool. Auto changeover. System switch: OFF, COOL, HEAT, AUTO and EMERGENCY HEAT. Fan switch: AUTO and ON. Lockable keypad.

Programmable Electronic Heat Pump Thermostat (p/n 50100). 7 day programmable, electronic heat pump or air conditioner thermostat. Manual or auto changeover. System: OFF, COOL, HEAT, EMERGENCY HEAT. Fan: AUTO and ON. Lockable keypad. Ventilation terminals. Programmable compressor. Requires 50101 sub-base if used with a heat pump or 50109 if used with air conditioner.

Air Conditioner Thermostats

Digital Thermostat (p/n 50121) - one stage heat, one stage cool. Non-programmable. Auto-On Fan switch. Manual changeover, Cool-Off-Heat switch. °F or °C.

Digital Thermostat (p/n 50123) - one stage heat, one stage cool. 7 day programmable. Auto-On Fan switch. Auto-changeover. Keypad lockout. Non-volatile program memory. Title 24 compliant-no batteries needed.

Digital Thermostat (p/n 50124) - one stage heat, one stage cool. 7 day programmable. Auto-On Fan switch. Manual changeover, Cool-Off-Heat switch. LCD display. Title 24 compliant-no batteries needed.
