MiniPac
MiniPac Environmental Control Units (ECU) are designed for the
telecommunications cabinet. The MiniPac ECU is available in various
sizes with nominal cooling capacities of 6,400 & 8,000
BTUHs and for operation on 208/230V, 1ø, 60 Hz. Designed for use in
outside ambients from 20°F to 125°F (-7°C to 50°C), the MiniPac ECU has
as standard the controls and safeties to maintain the environmental
control demand by the telecommunication industry. A counterflow design,
the conditioned air from the MiniPac is discharged near the bottom of
the unit. Tested to UL Std 1995, 2nd Ed. and CAN/CSA-C22.2 No. 236-95,
2nd Ed.
Designed for Operation in Low Ambient Conditions
- Low ambient control cycles condenser blower to maintain proper refrigerant pressures
- Low pressure switch or frost sensor protects compressor during low temperature operation
- Timed low pressure bypass
Built-in Reliability
- High pressure switch with lockout relay to protect refrigerant circuit
- Time delay/anti-short cycle timer prevents rapid cycling of the compressor
- Multi-tap transformer allows reliable operation on 208V or 230V power supply
Remote Alarm Capacity
- Dry contacts can be used for remote alarm upon air conditioner lockout
