Classic heat pumps, models HVPA & AVPA
Classic heat pumps, models AVPA and HVPA, are wall mounted heat
pumps designed to provide comfort at a minimum of cost without
sacrificing indoor floor space. All Classic heat pumps use the non-ozone depleting
R-410A refrigerant. Units are built in cooling capacities of
2 to 5 tons for operation on 208/230 v. & 460 v. Factory installed
ventilation packages and electric heat is available on all models.
Classic heat pumps are listed by independent labs and tested to UL
standards and rated in accordance with ARI standard 390 for efficiency
and performance.The Classic 13, models HVPA, is our premier line of wall mounted heat pumps. A scroll compressor, an axial outdoor fan and an electronically commutated indoor blower motor all contribute to make the Classic 13 the quietest wall mounted heat pump we've ever built. The units also feature our highest efficiency ratings with certified EER's of up to 11.80.
The Classic 13 HVPSA models feature a 2-stage compressor with a first stage capacity of 65% of the total capacity. The 2-stage compressor offers better comfort by maintaining more precise temperature and relative humidity levels with improved overall efficiency. With Integrated Part Load Values (IPLV) of up to 14.8, Classic heat pumps with the 2-stage compressor can provide significant energy saving.
The Classic AVPA models are the wall mount heat pump for the budget driven. They have certified EER's of up to 11.10 and meet all applicable federal efficiency standards for wall mounted heat pumps.
All Classic heat pumps are available to meet various ventilation requirements. All Marvair ventilation options are non-removable and factory installed and tested to ensure optimum performance and reliability.
