ECUA11

The ECUA11 Environmental Control Units (ECU) are designed for the telecommunications cabinet. The ECUA11 has a nominal cooling capacity of 12,000 BTUH (1 ton). The ECUA11 is built in two configurations - with a factory installed economizer for free cooling and the closed loop configuration (no outside air). In addition to energy savings, the economizer increases reliability and longevity by decreasing the run time of the compressor and the outdoor fan motor.

The ECUA11 is an ideal replacement for residential room air conditioners. The units are engineered for the temperature extremes and long run hours common to telecommunications applications. For existing shelters with residential room units, upgrading to the commercial grade ECUA11 is made easy by the design of the unit. The wall sleeve slides into a 26" (673 mm) X 17" (451 mm) wall opening. With built-in mounting flanges, the units mount quickly and securely to the exterior of the shelter.

Various options are available including grilles, thermostats and electric heat. Please refer to the Product Data Sheet for a complete description of the unit, options and accessories.
